Mohamad Zulhilmi Bin Dato’ Md Haris
Mohamad Zulhilmi graduated with a Bachelor in Accounting (Hons) from Universiti Tenaga Nasional in 2014 and received his Chartered Certified Accountant from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom in 2016. He was with AmBank (M) Berhad and Grant Thornton Malaysia, before moving to a factoring finance institution as a Chief Internal Auditor for three years and later becoming the institution’s Chief Financial Officer
Zulhilmi has vast experience in auditing, tax, accounting, and finance. Over the years, he has successfully structured and financed more than RM500 million in Government and GLC procurement contracts. During his service with a factoring finance institution, he was responsible for the documentation system for GST, developed and enhanced the Contract Finance Information System, structured the company’s internal control system, and prepared essential financial reports, resolving tax-related disputes with the relevant authorities. He also engaged with rating agencies RAM Holdings Berhad (RAM) and Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad, raising RM200 million worth of Sukuk Islamic Commercial Papers.
At FinansCap Zulhilmi continues to actively manage, structure, and advise the contract financing requirements for Government and GLCs contractors.
